1. GENEREL
Due to the nature of Julie Damhus ceramics the products and the artisanal processes will each product appear with a unique expression offering a varying structure and appearance. This products are made of stoneware and are microwave and dishwasher safe. Cutlery marks can occur on some glazes during time.
It is hard to reproduce exact shades and hues of a ceramic glaze under electric light. Every care has been made to ensure that the description and specifications of our products are correct and that the representation of colour is as accurate as the production and photographic process allow. However, we are not to be held responsible for any variation in colour caused by the browser software, mobile phone or computer system used by the customer. Since everything is hand-thrown, each product will be unique and it is part of the concept and design language. There cannot be complained of slight variation in size, shape and colour.
2. MY ACCOUNT
When you place an order on www.juliedamhus.dk, you can choose to create an account or check out as a guest. If you choose to create an account, we will only store the information that you provide on the order, such as shipping address and billing address, as well as personal information given to us by you, so that it will be possible for us to ship and deliver your order.
When creating the account, you will be able to choose a password with which you can log in and view your order history and track your order. In case you check-out as a guest, you will still be able to track your order by using the tracking provided in your shipping confirmation email. When you create an account with us, you can also choose to store a credit card for a future purchase. All information regarding your stored credit card(s) can be changed and/or deleted, when logging in to your account.
3. PLACING AN ORDER
By using the webshop and/or placing an order on the webshop, by telephone or e-mail you confirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, and that you accept these. Please make sure that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions before you place an order. Please note that products in your shopping bag are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until you have placed the order at checkout and received the order confirmation email. Please note that it can happen that an item you buy online has been sold at the same time online. In such a case, we reserve the right to cancel your order. We strive to keep our stock updated and for such issues not to occur.
4. ORDER CONFIRMATION
After submitting your order, we will send you an order confirmation email with your order number, details of the product that you have ordered from us, your payment details and delivery details. Please note that the confirmation email is an acknowledgement that we have received your order and is not an acceptance of the order.
5. ACCEPTANCE AND SHIPPING CONFIRMATION
Please note that all orders, placed by you, are subject to acceptance by us. We may, at our discretion, choose not to accept your order for any reason whatsoever without any liability to you. Once the order has been processed, a shipping confirmation email will be sent with all relevant information about your order. The shipping confirmation or pick-up notification is our acceptance of your order. If a product is unavailable, we will contact you by email. If we have received the payment for the product, we will refund you the amount of the purchase.
6. PRICES
The prices and delivery costs shown on the webshop include VAT. The prices and delivery costs shown on the webshop may vary from time to time, and the prices may also vary between the physical stores and the webshop.
7. PAYMENTS
The following payments are accepted on www.juliedamhus.dk.
A payment can be made by the following credit cards: Visa, Visa Dankort, Mastercard, VISA Electron and American Express. All products are stated in DKK, EUR and USD and all include Danish VAT (25%). You may be charged the VAT of your country upon delivery. If this is the case, you will be contacted by the delivery company in charge of your parcel. Please know that this can delay the delivery, as the goods will be held back by customs until you have paid the taxes. It is your responsibility to contact the delivery company and pay for these extra costs.
All purchases made with credit cards are verified by a secure code, and all communication between our payment system and the cardholder takes place via an encrypted SSL connection. You may also be subjected to 3D secure before you can finalize the order. On www.juliedamhus.dk we do our best to make the webshop as secure as possible.
You can also pay via MobilePay or use a gift card as a payment form. Julie Damhus Studios gift cards are valid for two years from the date they were purchased.
8. DELIVERY
As the product is ceramic, these packages are extremely well-wrapped, and therefore larger packing boxes are used to fill the package that protects the product. This results in a higher shipping price, as measured by weight and size. But with this careful packaging we achieve that the pottery is not damaged. All orders are shipped within 1-3 business days from Denmark, if the item is in stock. We always ship with GLS and in Denmark to GLS parcel shops. Free shipping on orders above DKK 1000 to GLS parcel shops in Denmark. Please note that we cannot take responsibility for any import taxes and duties related to your country.
If you choose click and collect (pick up in the workshop), you will be notified by e-mail, when your order is ready for pick up.
When the shipment has left Julie Damhus Studio, you will be able to to track your order via the link in our footer, or you can log-in into your account and check your order status here.
9. RETURN POLICY
Please read our return policy before returning your item to make the process easy and as fast as possible.
You can request a return of your purchase within 14 days after delivery. You must write us an e-mail to damhusstudio@gmail.com that clearly states that you wish to use your right of withdrawal. Return is at your own expense and you have to return the item(s) in 14 days. You cannot undo your purchase by only refusing to receive it but must inform us clearly first. Only unused items can be returned – Include a copy of the original invoice. Please wrap and pack the items, you wish to return, very carefully to ensure your returned product will not be damaged during shipping. We strongly recommend to wrap and pack the item(s) as received.
If the item is damaged upon arrival, you can return the item to us. In case the item is damaged, we will pay the return costs back to us. Please, do not hesitate to contact us for more information here: damhusstudio@gmail.com.
Should you wish to exchange an order for another size or item, we ask you to return the item and place a new order on juliedamhus.dk.
When your item has been received and returned successfully, we credit you the amount back through the same payment method used, when placing your order.
10. CLAIM
Julie Damhus Studio acts in accordance with applicable consumer regulations. Please contact us, as soon as possible, after receiving any defective products.
11. GUARANTEE
You have a 24-month warranty when you shop at www.juliedamhus.dk, which means that you can get replaced, refunded or a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation around the individual product. It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect is not caused by misuse of the product or other injurious behaviour. Complaints about defects of the product must take place within two months after the defect is discovered, we will refund reasonable freight costs if the complaint is justified. The product must be sent to: Julie Damhus Studio, Nørreled 34, Skørring, 8544 Mørke, Denmark. When returning a product please state what the problem is as detailed as possible to damhusstudio@gmail.com. Remember that the product must always be returned in protective packaging, and remember to get a receipt for shipment, so we can reimburse your shipping costs.
